(St)Art Decade...
Hope you all had a good break and aren't suffering too much today from pre-new-year's-day-celebration after effects...or, what I call, a hangover.
Anyway, what better way to kick off the new decade than with the chance to win a an official 2011 calendar sporting a brand new 2011 Bowie signature?
As you know, the official 2011 David Bowie calendar was compiled from several sessions taken by Brian Ward. Here's an excerpt from the blurb on the back cover to remind you...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The fourteen images of David Bowie contained within this calendar were taken from several sessions with photographer Brian Ward at his London studio over a period of less than a year in 1971 and 1972.
These sessions provided iconic images for three album covers: Hunky Dory at the close of 1971 and both The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars and the RCA reissue of The Man Who Sold The World in 1972.
Several picture sleeve 45s around the globe and an astonishing collection of press adverts and promotional material that blitzed the world?s media throughout 1972 were also sourced from these sessions.

Here's what you have to do to be in with a chance of winning...
As mentioned in the blurb, "an astonishing collection of press adverts" were created in late 1971 through to early March 1973 that utilised pictures from these sessions.
In the above animation I have selected just eight of those adverts which appeared in the UK, US and Japanese music press during this period.
However, one of the eight is a fake that I mocked up just for this contest. I'm not saying if I created the whole thing or just a part of an already existing advert. The other seven are exactly as they appeared at the time...aside from the white letter in the red circle of course.
You've guessed your task...Once you've identified the fake advert send the corresponding letter to me here. (You need to log in for the link to work)
You have a couple of weeks to enter as the contest closes on Saturday January 15th at midnight, New York time.
Usual BowieNet rules apply: Only one entry per BowieNet account and please remember you must enter using your BowieNet e-mail or at least supply your BowieNet user name. If you do neither of these things you won't be eligible to enter.
Good Luck and Happy New Year, kidz!
