Uk Media Blitz For Classic Album Cover Stamps

Those of you living in the UK can't have failed to notice the media coverage for the launch of Royal Mail's Classic Album Cover range of stamps that we've been telling you about since October. If you pre-ordered the FDC (first day cover) you should start receiving them in the post from January 8th, when we will be running a contest to win FDCs signed by David Bowie!

Now that's what I call a collectors' item.

*** I'm not sure that the Royal Mail can actually offer that kind of guarantee of adhesive longevity, and I should also point out that those of you excited by the notion of licking the back of Ziggy's head will be left sorely disappointed as these stamps are self-adhesive!
