Ziggy Outfit For British Music Experience Exhibition

The David Bowie archive has loaned an outfit to The British Music Experience, a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of popular music in Britain.

Described as "David Bowie's iconic Ziggy Stardust outfit" in news reports, we can confirm that it will actually be one of several early outfits that were made by Freddie Burretti.

The British Music Experience exhibition will open at London's O2 Arena on the banks of the River Thames early in 2009 and it is the brainchild of music promoter Harvey Goldsmith.
