Thursday Night Pictures And Another Lotl Review

Satomi coudn't make the Deerhoof with David Bowie photo opportunity, so David
held a cardboard cut-out photo thing of her instead...and very realsitic it looks too.

I am the best word jazz you've ever seen...

David Bowie went along to catch a couple of his High Line selections again last night, when he attended both the Deerhoof (above) and Ken Nordine (below) shows.

Gottle o' geer!" Ken Nordine and David Bowie backstage last night.

BowieNetter ladyofthelake was out sampling what High Line again had to offer in NYC last night, too. She attended the second KEN NORDINE/MIKE GARSON evening and you can read her beautifully evocative review here on the MBs.

Here's a couple of brief tasters:

"Mike Garson's fingers always fascinate me. They are like ballerinas, dancing in the forgotten world, like fast sprint runners breaking every speed record and like funny comedy actors, who pretend to give us a big sound and just a little sweet whispering note comes out of his piano."

"Ken Nordine can make an interesting story about a peace of paper he finds in the street, about the life of an eyebrow, the colour blue (or red, or orange, or else), the telephone book or whatever...In fact he told us the alphabet story, a story of an unfulfilled love and a lot more. He brought us near the idea of a tattoo, which moves around in your body and a strange TV show."

Thanx to Larry Busacca and WireImage.com for the use of these exclusive pictures.
