Atlanta Pictures And Set List

"Gee it's hot, let's go to bed..." - DB in Atlanta last night by penelope.

The crazed in the hot-zone...

A Reality Tour reconvened at the Chastain Park Ampitheatre in Atlanta last night, after the cancellation of Thursday's Miami show following the tragic death of lighting technician Wally Thomas.

By all accounts, well BowieNetter penelope's actually, it was a bit of a hot, sticky evening in Atlanta. Here's a bit of her account from the message boards, from where I've also lifted the lovely shot above which she also took:

"Thrilling, amazing, and just whole, perfect and complete! Ehem..notice the sweat on sailor's shirt...when I said it was on fire here this evenin', I wasn't kiddin' around toots!"

Looking forward to the rest of penelope's pictures and her full report. Hope you didn't mind us using your stuff, penelope?

I've had to rely on another BowieNetter for the setlist today too. In the absence of anything from HNB just yet, I'm sure you'll all take the word of the very thorough corinap. If corinap's account is to be believed, the two-song encore suggests the heat finally got to David.

corinap has also promised a follow up of more words and pictures, but right now both she and penelope are in slumberland, not together of course... well not as far as I'm aware. Don't want to start another Sax/Gwyn type thing here. Speaking of Saxonny, following Wednesday's report from Tampa I can reveal that the girl is mobile again, having spent the past three days in bed recovering.

Anyway, here is the 27-song setlist, and in the highly unlikely event that corinap has erred, I'll update the setlist later.

Col. Walter E. Kurtz takes on keyboard duties in Atlanta.

Obviously the ever-dependable Erik managed to get a batch of his inspired photographs to me. One of his pictures suggests that there was again some kind of audience participation with the passing around of the microphone. But, more than that I can not say... I doubt anybody had a problem with the pronunciation of Atlanta!?

BowieNet members can click on the example above to reach another ten shots in the VT section. Thanx again Erik, you're doing a magnificent job.

A Reality Tour continues tomorrow night at the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City. If you're kicking around the area this evening, see yesterday's news for something rather special you could be attending.
