The music is outside...
Apart from the Isle of Wight and T in the Park festivals that we told you about recently, we can confirm that more festival dates have now been confirmed and are on sale.
Tickets for the Arrow Rock Festival in Holland go on sale on Saturday. David Bowie will also play two consecutive dates in Norway: Bergen on June 17th and the Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo the following day, June 18th. Both these shows are on sale now.
In addition to these, tickets for Roskilde are also on sale, even though we can not confirm yet which day David will be playing. The Rock Werchter festival in Belgium has also been confirmed, but again the day of David's performance hasn't, and tickets aren't on sale for some time yet.
Below is a hopefully less confusing breakdown of announced festival dates which are on sale, unless otherwise stated:
June 2004
Arrow Rock Festival - Friday June 11 - Holland - Lichtenvoorde - (On sale Sat Dec 13)
Isle of Wight Festival - Sunday June 13 - UK - Medina - Isle of Wight
Bergen - Thursday June 17 - Norway - Bergen
Norwegian Wood Festival - Friday June 18 - Norway - Oslo
July 2004
Roskilde - Friday July 2 - Denmark - Roskilde
Rock Werchter - July 3 or 4 - Belgium - (Date of performance tbc - On sale date tbc)
T in the Park - Saturday July 10 - UK - Scotland
There are more dates to be confirmed, and we'll let you have them as soon as we are able. It seems that some dates are being leaked before we are allowed to announce them here officially. And, while our hands are generally tied, we will be happy to deny any rumours (or postings) that are not true.
