Ooh, she does too much to me...
For those of you in New York tonight that aren't going to be in The Bronx watching David Bowie, you may want to console yourself with an evening at CBGB's instead. As we mentioned last week, (10/07/02 NEWS: KRISTEEN YOUNG AT CBGB's TONIGHT - WIN HER ALBUM NOW!)
Thursday October 17th @ CBGB, 8:30
Tuesday October 22nd @ Luxx (in Williamsburg), 8:00
Thursday October 24th @ CBGB, 8:30
Tuesday October 29th @ CBGB, 8:30
In the same piece we set a competition for ten lucky BowieNetters to win a promo CDR copy of Kristeen's Visconti-produced album, 'Breasticles'. As I said before, aside from containing a beautiful recording in 'Saviour', a Bowie/Young duet, 'Breasticles' is a fine album that showcases Kristeen's incredible four octave range, and boasts many of Kristeen's own wonderful original songs.
Anyway, the task we set you was to: "tell me four artists, other than Kristeen, that Tony Visconti has produced." There are far too many answers to this one to list here now... So I'll just give you the user names of the ten winners who should contact me with their real name and address at TotalBlamBlam@davidbowie.com with a subject line of "I Won Kristeen Young".
