And 'Thru These Architect's Eyes' I see a 'Little Wonder'
Blimey! That didn't seem like a month between competitions, but it's the first Monday of February, so I suppose it must have been. Obviously two levels of difficulty with these clues. Nobody seemed to have much of a problem with the first clue with which Vivian cleverly illustrated the song 'Thru These Architect's Eyes', by hinting at these lyrics: "All the majesty of a city landscape...All the concrete dreams in my mind's eye".
But, Simone's clue had many of you completely stumped. I suppose the first clue was the size of the picture. The fact that this smaller version clicked through to a larger one was a clue to Little. The picture itself was of The Lighthouse of Alexandria. This aid to sailors (hee hee) was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. QED, the picture was a 'Little Wonder'!
Because there weren't too many people getting this one right, ('The Port Of Amsterdam' was a popular wrong answer, even though the song title is simply 'Amsterdam'.) I added a further clue of a picture of the lovely little Alexandria, and made further hints at the song with these words: "You may wonder what the picture of the little person above has to do with all of this?". It seems the picture of David and Iman's very own Little Wonder, Alexandria, did the trick for those of you that were struggling.
But, as always, The Random Selector can choose but only one of you for each clue. Go here for the two lucky names that TRS has selected, and this month's competition picture.
That foxed them didn't it Daddy?
