Everyone's been asking about the infamous Live and Well.com CD, and with good reason. There's good news and bad news we have to relay (actually, it's more like a confession than real bad news). Knowing that everyone has their own preference as to which they like to get first, we're giving you the option:

Beatnik @ Roseland
This snippet was taken from a review of David's BowieNet Members Roseland show!
DAVID BOWIE brought his virtual world home to reality in New York City, June 19, as he performed for nearly 4,000 fans, press and members of Bowienet, his online community residing at http://www.davidbowie.com. The event, held at the Roseland Ballroom, was in preparation for Bowie's appearance at the 30th annual Glastonbury Festival in the U.K.; Bowie performed at the first festival in 1970.
As a partner in the collaborative work, Beatnik provided an eMix for Bowie's "The Pretty Things Are Going To Hell," weeks before the event. After judging rounds, one fan's remix emerged as a winner. Fernando Dos Santos claimed the grand prize for his "Jersey Sensibility Mix" of Bowie's song, attended the concert and had a chance to meet with the artist after the show. Rolling Stone Review
Here is another brilliant review from RollingStone.com concerning the BowieNet show.
Here is a bit from the review:
The rock star, high-tech pioneer, bank magnate and virtual community patriarch (not to mention actor and painter) played the role of host at New York's Roseland Ballroom on Monday night at a private show. Among the attendees were BowieNet subscribers, friends (including his wife/model Iman, his The Hunger co-star Susan Sarandon, fashion designer Todd Oldham and members of the Cure) and the press.

Duncan On The Job
Iman took this sweet shot backstage at the Roseland BowieNet Night show (June 19th).
Here's Duncan, in full director garb. He had a break from his London work and helped his dad out with the filming of the show. (......and is now deeply into editing it all) plus David and Mick Rock.
We know what you're thinking - when can we see the viddy?!?@#?

Live Aid Up For Grabs
Music365.co.uk has run a story about an online auction of rock memorabilia in conjunction with Live Aid's 15th Anniversary and the Wembley Stadium 'End of an Era' program. Here is a snippet!
LIVE AID's 15th anniversary is being celebrated by an online auction of rock memorabilia this month. The auction is also being staged as part of the Wembley Stadium End of an Era programme by leading online auctioneer QXL.com.
Besides 1985's star-studded concert in aid of the Ethiopian famine victims, over the course of Wembley's 77-year history the stadium has staged some of the biggest and most celebrated concerts in the world. Some of the greatest names in the business have played there including Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Michael Jackson, David Bowie and the soon to retire Tina Turner.
