July 17 sees the release of 'Seven'. 'Seven' is the third single to be lifted from David's 1999 critically acclaimed top 5 album 'hours...'. This, Bowie's 23rd studio album, has already enjoyed success with the two hit singles 'Thursdays Child' and 'Survive'. The success of 'hours...' throughout Europe has ranged from a Number 1 album in Israel to Gold status in Italy.
'Seven' instantly became a live favourite on David's European promotional tour at the end of last year. Fitting in perfectly amongst classics such as 'Life On Mars', 'Drive In Saturday' and 'China Girl'. The track is also very in keeping with 'hours...' and it's themes of loss and regret set to a strong melody-driven soundtrack which make it one of David's most seemingly personal offerings to date.
Formats will include a mix from Marius De Vries (famed for his work with Madonna) and an extra special reworking form Beck. The pair have been mutual fans for sometime now and hit it off instantly when they spoke about working together.
After finishing 1999 with an exceptionally special show at the London Astoria (audience included Jagger, Townshend, Norman Cook and a Spice Girl amongst others!) David will back to headline and wow audiences at this year¹s Glastonbury Festival.
'hours...' is now available on Virgin Records to buy in record stores nation-wide.
