After an absence from British cinema screens of almost 30 years, Stanley Kubrik's Clockwork Orange returns nation-wide today. Withdrawn soon after it's release back in 1971 at the director's request, (apparently after receiving death threats to his family, and not because of alleged 'copycat' violent attacks inspired by the 'ultra-violence in the film) this controversial and terrifying movie is also the subject of a Channel 4 documentary tonight.
