Il Mio West Synopsis

BowieNet has received several request for more information about IL MIO WEST. Here is a brief synopsis of the story-line.

In 1890 , Basin Hill was a quiet village surrounded by green, situated on the slopes of the mountains on the border of Canada. It was a typical village of the Far West; everything was built in wood and apart from the houses, there was also a magnificent saloon that was run by the seductive Mary,a post office, shops, stables for the horses, a school ,a wind mill and a small cemetery that dominated the village.

There was also a railway, but the inhabitants of Basin Field knew that the train would never arrive there, because the track is too steep and the train would never be able to climb so far. Doc, the village Doctor, lived there with his family:his beautiful Indian wife Pearl, and their baby Geremia, who is the narrator of the film.Basin Field's tranquillity is shattered by Jack Sikora's arrival. He's a ferocious gunman who won't stop at anything and he wants to fight a duel with his rival Johnny Lowen. Doc is the only person who may be able to stop this horrible fight.
