Hangin'
out at home, circa 1982!

From 1977 until sometime in 1982, I
lived at a house in Seattle's U-District
located at 5516 University Way NE (now
a dirt lot). One of only a handful
of "party houses" in town during
the underground explosion commonly
refered to as "the punk era", my succession
of crazy roommates & I
proudly played host to everyone from
The Tubes to the Ramones
to Blondie & back again. The house
was renowned for it's "David
Bowie wallpaper", as seen in these
photos. Nowadays, my living space
is much smaller, so David is forced
to share wallspace with the likes of
Frank Zappa, Sparks, Donald Duck, Iggy
Pop, The Wizard Of Oz &
The Beatles. But I still have all this
stuff-
& OH, SO MUCH MORE...

No
one ever returned once they ventured
behind
the curtain... REALLY!!!
Oh,
if these walls could talk!!! (Note the styrofoam
head with
the
mowhawk wig sitting on the speaker- LOL!!!)
"C'mon,
Charlie! All the kids are doin' it!"
