English Civil War – album track
When Paul Simonon reviewed The Never Ending Story album he named this as his favourite track – something I never tire of telling people.
That said, there’s an out of tune acoustic guitar on there if you know where to look and as for that monologue at the end – what were we thinking?
Then again I recently saw a copy in Camden market for a worryingly inflated price (pun intended!), which I guess, means something. I don’t know what but something.
