With my lightnin' bolts a glowin', I can see where I am goin' to be...
David Bowie attended the first night of The High Line Festival with Iman last night to check out the band he has been championing since their very first stirrings, The Arcade Fire.
With the show sold out well in advance the success of this gig was never in doubt, and by all accounts it was a typically inspired AC performance that lifted the roof of New York's Radio City Music Hall.
But don't take my word for it, our reporter on the spot, David Bowie, sent in his impressions before he retired for the evening. Here's what he had to say...

Win Butler, the dust bowl era Presley, shakes those hips.
'Glamorous, devoted, standing-room only crowd of thousands at the Radio City Music Hall tonight. Fabulous, wonderful high energy show. Win's bout with the sinus doc has done nothing but improve his already superb vocals.
Looking like a dust bowl era Presley, Win led the house in anthem after newie. Wish Wake Up, the closer, would never have ended. A great first night and I so want tomorrow to come. - sailor'

I'll leave you with the setlist from a show that I'm sure will be talked about for a long time to come.
Double happy couples. From L to R: Win Butler, Regine Chassagne, David Bowie and Iman.
