Ken Scott Reflexes Producing Muscles With Duran Duran

Ziggy Stardust and Hunky Dory co-producer Ken Scott has been rumored to be producing the next Duran Duran CD.

Bowie says,"According to Ken, there was a meeting with Nick Rhodes and a couple of the other guys a long time ago and it looked like it was going to happen. Then the whole Management thing blew up and Ken hasn't heard anything since. Was it going to be called 'Hallucinating Elvis'? Well, at that time, 'Elvis' was just one of the songs they were going to record. So there you are, amigos." Ken Scott resides and works in the City of Angels.

Bowienet To Support Heroes Project

After reviewing the recent responses to David's Question: "What shall we do...and for whom, this Christmas? Let's act as a community", and receiving several requests, BowieNet has decided to Adopt the Heroes Project as our special Christmas community activity.

This unique charity cover version of the classic David Bowie anthem "Heroes" was released on 1st December 1998. Performed by THE HEROES featuring THE DIAMONDOGZ Written by David Bowie and Brian Eno

As a reminder: The aim of The Heroes Project is to influence SOCIAL ATTITUDE.

Bowie Fans Meet In Rio

on December 11, 1998

The Brazilian Fan Club Outside are planning their first annual meeting for January 1999 in Rio de Janeiro, January 15th and 17th, 1998. Events include a tour of Rio, parties and a studio session where fans will form a tribute band and play Bowie tunes till dawn.
