Good Crispy Christ! I apparantly don't give a rat's ass about blogging, as I haven't for nearly a year. Oh, well, why start caring now? Life is good, but I don't feel much a need to document it.

Walking to work today, a starling shit on my knee. Yep, nice streak of starling poo down the front of my pants . . . expensive pants. I hate starlings. Flying vermin, they are. Well, I managed to get the stain out upon arriving at work. Still hate starlings, though.

Just got back from a magical week in Sorrento, Italy, a lovely vacation spot in southern Italy on the Mediterranean. Hot, muggy, hilly, infested with blooming lemon and orange trees, and filled with Europe's well-healed travelers. A magical place. And I was there to attend a magical wedding . . . on a dock by a large cliff dotted with the ruins of an old city under which the new city sits. The bride made her entrance by boat, and the groomsmen had to hoist her onto the dock. the food was glorious, the sun shone, the smell of orange blossoms filled the air . . .
Some small part of Heaven must look, smell, and taste like Sorrento.
