Wow, it's been a while already since I've been on this site. The last three years of my life have been quite insane. I've lost 200 pounds, lost my identity, lost my younger brother, and came quite close to losing my insanity.

But 2011 was an amazing year, And I came back with a vengeance. I'm working on relosing 60 pounds the insanity brought back on, I'm working on leaving a comfy cushy job to do something not as cushy, and hopefully not as comfy, but fulfilling. And my former 420lb fat arse is training to run the Boston Marathon for my friend that has now entered his fourth round of Chemo. I refuse to think anything but positive thoughts for him, he will make this, and I will complete the Marathon. That's all there is to it.

Also, I would like to thank those that always leave comments for me, I really do appreciate it, you are all a very nice bunch on the floating ghost ship USSBnet. And on the topic of being a ghost ship, there are nights where sleep completely evades me, where I see or hear, or dream of my brother and nothing can get me back to sleep. On those nights I have drifted the virtual hall of the USSBnet, and while I hope they do a revamp, of which I will gladly still subscribe, I hope it keeps it's simplistic charm as well. It really is a lovely site. Perhaps if not they can keep the original in an archive for people to browse through.

Happy holidays everyone, now I must carb up, 9 mile run tomorrow, my doublewide arse isn't too pleased with that.

It's been a while crocodile

I haven't posted in ages, I sometimes forget to even come visit. This has been the year of crazy travel. I decided I needed to see Oscar Wilde's grave, and visit Rough Trade Records. So spent a weekend on a plane, getting off briefly in Paris to hit the cemetery, then cruising up to London to visit the record shop.

And of course, Iceland was visited. But the biggest thing I've done is sign up to run the Boston Marathon. Yeah, my fat arse is going to run the Marathon. I have to raise a heapload of cash in order to do it but I get a trainer and the likes, and have begun training for it. It's either going to kill me, or be fun I'm sure.
