Well, it's that time of year again, nearly the end of summer 
I'm always sad to see the warm weather end - as I know lots of us are! How was everyone's summer? We still have warm weather here for a while, hopefully it lasts into October like it has the last few years.
Anyway just stopping by the blogs, haven't been here much in recent months, but still staying in touch with most of you through pms or facebook.

I can't believe how fast the past 3 years have flown by, yet at the same time it seems like I've been a part of BowieNet a lot longer than that. Although Bnet isn't what it used to be, being a member there has been great - the best part of course being all of the wonderful friends I've made there :) I've been lucky enough to meet up with several awesome Bnetters, and talk to some great friends on the phone, and many more through pms and chat :D
So I'm just writing this to say thanks to you all for being such good friends - for being there when you need someone to talk to, or for talking all about Bowie and hearing stories of going to DB concerts, or for having a silly conversation and a laugh :D
I have many great memories of being a bnetter looking back at the past three years, and looking forward to more in the years to come.
Thanks friends!! :) It's been a "fantastic voyage" being on bnet - I'm glad I got that Reality DVD 3 years back :)

Hi there bnetters, how is everyone? How is your summer coming along? Haven't been to the blogs in ages, though I talk to many of you on facebook now. Just stopping in to say hi, and hope you're all having a great summer. 
Can't believe it's nearly mid August now! The summer always goes by so quickly. Been busy here with work, school which is starting again soon, and other hobby projects I've been working on. Been trying to decide exactly which program of study to resume in the fall - I've been going back and forth between a few, and now leaning towards taking education courses.
Have people here done much summer traveling? Haven't gone far myself, but had a lovely vacation to Michigan for a few days back in June (the photo above is of beautiful Lake Michigan)
