I've been looking around on other sites, exploring other interests, etc. I'm not sure what I was looking for, but it was right here all the time. This site isn't perfect, but it's a lot better than 99.9% of what's out there.
The summer has been beautiful. Warm, sunny, lots of people outside. I've been riding my bike a lot, trying to get in shape. Jim's leg is finally healing, but it is still quite painful. Badass injury.
I'm done with surgery, almost done with treatments, almost back to normal.
So, time to catch up, again. I don't know why I've taken long brakes. I think about people here a lot, wonder what's going on.
So, what's new??

Finally! People go ape-shit crazy around here when the weather warms up.
I haven't been on the boards for awhile--busy, a little surgery, blah, blah, blah. I had my last reconstruction surgery, and I am so happy to be done. I'm still a bit sore, but recovering just fine. I'm quite happy with the "downsizing."
So, I'll try to catch up with everyone, which is, of course, impossible.

Today I was able to wear a skirt I couldn't wear last month. I was so thin then, the skirt fell right over my hips! Bring on the calories!
I've got some hair--not much more than a very short crew-cut, and I haven't had the nerve to go out in public with it yet. Also, it's cold!
The pain from the expander is better, but I wish I was in better shape for the trip to NY so I could walk for miles. Oh, well, I'm still really looking forward to it, and I get to see my nephew, Carlito, who lives with his mom and dad in Manhattan. He was born just one week ago today. This is their first baby--and my brother-in-law is 56!
Old goat. Ha, Charlie, just kidding...
