is an important skill, it saves belljars from smashing forever
its a relief that the most important one is saved.
The Senses

Many, many years ago, when the earth was young and the trees ruled the earth, before CD's and Ipods were ever thought possible, when a PC meant the plod ... i wrote my first short (very short) story... After four odd years of not writing a thing and wondering why i floated round HMV in Oxford street or Virgin when it had a big shop at Marble Arch. My fingers tiched as they past a cassette called 'The Classic experience' I had never owned a classic anything back in those days so i thought it best i joined the league of cultured ears, i bought it. Thing is i loved the front cover, i mean i just loved it...
So when i got back to whatever flea-pit i dwelled in at the time, i got out my A4 and wrote about the man on the front cover coming home from the 3rd WW.
I called it 'The Senses ...'
Today i loaft around my local library and guess what, yup there it was, a bit like me, hidden away in nowhere, a bit chipped around the edges with a few finger prints left there-on... I've brought it home.

Sometimes what is behind them is truly dreadful, really truly dreadful!
