So i bought the Arcade Fire/ David Bowie iTunes EP. And HAD to install iTunes, and guess whaaaaaaaat? it messed up my media streaming in internet explorer :P Just like i knew it would. But, thanks to the wonders of Sony Sound Forge, i can now play the ITUNES ONLY tracks in media player, on my Creatie Zen Micro, and on everything other than iTunes, HA! .
Nearly two months has passed since my last entry, you'd think i'd have somthing to say.
Im very excited to say i have tickets to see Mr David Gilmour, at the royal albert hall, and also the Australian Pink Floyd show, which should be marvellous. There are several bands i would like to see this year, After picking up some CD's in the sales.
Goldfrapp's new album is very good with a definate 70's feel to it, you mustve heard the song Ohh La La La,
John Legend's album is also very good. Although it does seem to be about getting high and screwing, i mentioned this to my girlfriend and she said 'hes black, what do you expect' not intended as a racist remark im sure.
Will David Bowie tour in 2006? Will England win the world cup? i'd say they are equally as unlikley to happen.
This is a very good website for all you Simpson's fans out there, especially the quotes page, where you can find, as you may expect quotes from the episode of your choice. Excellent for people who have sound on there pc at work.
And this is the best resource ive seen for finding out which epidose it is your looking for.
"Hello, my name is Mr Burns, i beleive you have a package for me.."
"OK Mr Burns, whats your first name?"
"I.. Dont... Know" Listen Here
OK thats enough from me.

Some things piss me off. Some things piss everyone off, obviously.
But this really did piss ME off.
And im sure your not in the slightest bit interested :P
But this is my blog, so im gonna say it.
Eventually.
Now, what pissed me off is this,
I was reading an article on Credit Card Fraud, on the BBC News website, which is a good site.
As you may expect there was a 'have your say' section, and feeling particularly outgoing i thought, why not.
Posted up a comment about never being too worried about online transactions, because i check the autheticity of digital certificates and only use well known retailers.
Then i decided to read through what joe public had to say.
I was not impressed.
There are at least 5 posts saying that as long as a web site is HTTPS rather than just HTTP, then your safe. This is rediculous, not only that but sooo infuriating. Because someone out there is going to read that, and then go to a dodgy website and see HTTPS and think yeah no worries. BYE BYE MONEY :(
What am i on about? you may well ask.
HTTP - this is what represents the protocol you enter into your web browser. www.davidbowie.com for example.
HTTPS - The S represents SSL (secure sockets layer)
What this does is encrypt the normal HTTP traffic to 128bit encrypted traffic, so your avergae hacker wont be able to decipher what is being sent between you and the web site.
Nothing wrong with that.
But, setting up a HTTPS website takes MINUTES!!!
This is my point, just because it says HTTPS means NOTHING. depending on what browser you use, you can check the details of the certificate. Usually a padlock will appear in the corner of internet explorer. Double click this to view details of the certificate.
(The certificate is what a trusted authority like Verisign, will issue to parties that it deems worthy of being trusted. Its basically a way of saying, yes you can trust these people)
Its very annoying. I probably havent explained it at all well.
My Advice??
Only shop at trusted online stores, if in doubt. Dont do it.
