Checking in on the Bowie site today, I have found that my access to most areas has been restricted due to non payment of my membership fee, Oh well. Not much worth looking at anyway. One of the few areas I can get on is the "Blog", so here is my latest blog posting. 40th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust coming up soon with a special re release. Other than that, all quiet on the Bowie front

After being a faithful Bowie fan since 1972 and a subscriber to this site for many years, it has come time to cancel my membership. THere is no viable news about the activities of David. I understand that he wants his privacy and he is certanily entitled to that, but the BowieNet site should be free to all at this point and not charge any fees until there is a reason to. I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Chance show in Poughkipsie and 3 other shous on the Reality tour through Bowienet, but it appears that it has outlived its usefulness

I've decided to cut down my personal David Bowie collection. I am keeping all the original LPs and 45s from the 60s and 70s, but selling off all the realated items, such as bootleg LPs, 12" singles, picture discs, various artist LPs and othere items. Hopefully they will go to good homes. At the peak I had over 300 LPs and 400 45s. by Bowie, but the time has come to downsize
