I love Yucca.....that weird but yummy Cactus side dish found in some Southeast Asian & South American cuisines.
Earlier this week I had luch at one of my family's very favorite South American joints, simply called America's. It is a Chilean charrascarria (steak house.)
My first sampling of Yucca was in Bali, Indonesia & I thought what kind of bland, tasteless, starchy thing is this?
Generally rolled into balls or shaped into patties & deep fried, I have long since come to love these soft but crunchy morsels.
Of course, being a db devote, it reminded me of his Pixie's cover of THIS song:

John I'm Only Dancing

Yesterday Season 10 of Dancing with the Stars opened with mixed reviews.
Singer Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls along with her professional dancing partner, Derek Hough came in with the evening's highest score:25 out of a possible 30 points.
Olympic skater Evan Lysacheck & Anna Trebunskaya came in with a 23 in the Judges' scoring.
Senior cast member, Buzz Aldrin who is a Vetran NASA Moon-walker (1969) and pro partner Ashley Costa earned a 14 for their cha-cha.
Weeks worth of David's "Let's Dance" promos roped me in for this season.
