went really well last night.
There were one or two things I had difficulty with as it involved twisting the knee.
I'll have to learn those later.
Minor injuries and major bruises later I feel pretty good despite things I didn't know
I had being in pain. It's a good pain though. I know how good I'm going to be come January.
note to self: invest in ice packs and heating pads. 
update. Have an appointment with the orthopedist tomorrow since the friggin' insurance company won't allow the MRI. a-holes.

going in for an MRI next week...
it's still hurts, but it's just annoying, not truly painful.
I guess running for the train and the bus in heels today didn't help either.

practice went great the other night.
One minor flaw, I tweaked a ligament in my left knee.
No skating for two weeks!! or so the doc says.
dammit.
So now I sit back and keep in shape with other things
that don't involve the knee.
Second practice was hard to watch and not
put skates on. I still learned a bit by watching,
but man I want to be out there. If I put the skates
on too soon, I'll hurt my knee even more and
then NO skating at all...
ah well, get it out of the way now, get better
and then kick some serious derby butt!
