How lame that I get so much excitement out of learning to follow a pattern. Here's the start of a swatch of 'feather and fan' lace knit pattern. My mother, who always said i'd end up working for a travelling circus, is so proud that I am doing girl things.
Next on the knitting project list, knit a coffee table. I'm gonna, you just wait and see.

In New York, dogs are people.
I went into a shoe store last night, and I was trying on a few pairs. A woman came in with three punt-able size dogs on leashes. Just strolled in as if she was walking them through the park. Of course, one of the dogs came over to sniff me, and I kicked it (a nudge, really) away. The woman started freaking out with "really, do you need to be so nasty to my dogs?". She was right, I should have kicked her.

I just had S/O email me a pic of our intended dinner. I had a crappy lunch so I needed something to dream about between now and then.
We ate some rubbery tofu burgers yesterday and I'm feeling a bit anemic. Why am I justifying? It's my business if I choose to eat meat and drink blood isn't it?
