This is an interesting one. 25 years ago my uncle, benjamin hendrickson, was david bowie's understudy in the Elephant Man. He took over the title role in 1981. My uncle recently committed suicide, and he is survived by my brother and me. While going through his belongings I found a pencil sketch, which on the back says "Cathedral by David Bowie and Benjamin Hendrickson, The Elephant Man, 1981." I know david would fondly remember my uncle and I wanted to let him know about his death and also see if he remembered this drawing and could give me some history on it. Chances of reaching him through here are probably slim, but I'm giving it a shot, for $65.00.
