Happy Anniversary to Me!

It's our first year anniversary! (That's would be dating, not marriage, in case you thought you were really out of the loop).
One year ago tonight, our group of friends were together at Fox and Hound for karaoke night. Joe got himself a bit on the drunk side, which was the only way he would come out of his shell enough to flirt with me. Everyone else left and we stayed until closing time, flirting shamelessly with each other (I didn't even know how to flirt until this point. Turns out it comes easily if you really like the guy. Who knew?). Come 2:00am, we're in the parking lot saying goodnight to each other and he finally leans in and kisses me. I pull back and say "It's about time. I've been waiting for you to do that for a month."
We've been together non-stop ever since.
Joe told me to think about what I want to do tonight. I'm terrible at that. I can't think of things to do on demand. :P

O.k. Wow. It was really, really, really, really good. I went with Tish, who only knew a couple of songs and she loved it. Of course she loved the opening act (Ali Eskandarian) which I thought was complete crap, so who knows. A few notes.
1- Meridian is freaking awesome! It's not a traditional music venue. It's a club. Club size. Nice and small. Also it's in the warehouse district, so it's an interesting location. I was about five feet from the stage and I was in the third row back.
2- DAMN he's gotten old. And where did his hair go?
3- Either he stuffs his pants, or... wow...
4- Still rocking this guyliner at 51, but in a subdued, nice way. Not in a Pete Wentz way.
5- There was a very drunk lady who spilled her drink all over me and then started yelling at the two guys in front of me "MOVE!!!!" After a minute when they didn't budge, she moved down a couple of feet and tried it was the next couple of people. This time she explained reasons why she needed closer. What they were, I don't know, but I think it involved sleeping with Peter Murphy. She made it to a pole and started trying to dance seductively with it (really it was hard to stop watching this) while trying to make eye contact with him. 'Cause nothing is as hot as a 40+ Houston woman with fried hair and muffin top.
6- Never have I been to a concert with such a mix of people. Plenty of teenagers dressed up in their crappy goth clothes from Hot Topic and plenty of people 35+. It was kind of odd.
I wish I could write down the set list, but I have a hard time matching up song titles with the song. A couple that I do remember, in no particular order.

I'm pretty sure that Marlene Dietrich's Favourite Poem was one of the encores. I know that a cover of Be My Wife was the last song, which he only played a bit of before leaving the stage for good. :P
Didn't get home until after one. I'm kind of exhausted.
