It's been a while...........
Weekends these days, have been consumed with rain and more rain and shit when it rains out here, it really rains 
It's the Monsoon season and probably the most unpleasant time of the year. In between the rain storms you have the walk in the sauna routine, so it's best just to stay in conditioned climes!
Sunday was a complete wash out so I had a chance to catch up on some reading and listen to some perfect Sunday afternoon mood music. Sylvians, Secrets of a Beehive is for me just one of those perfect Sunday stay at home and veg albums. Transformer and Velvet Underground, would also be up there on the Sunday Playlist.
Enjoying Freakonomics at the moment. A refreshing laymans look at Economics. Great read!

Well, my weekend in NY was completely bombed out by 27" of snow, and subsequently any planned schedules. One of the nicest things about getting to NY is meeting up with Mick Rock and having tea. Splendid chap and it's always fascinatiing looking through his photos and listening to him speak about his work. So as you can imagine, a great disappointment but they'll be other times
I suppose it was poetic justice. I was in NY on one of the hottest weekends last October and now one of the whitest and coldest. Still a great place whatever the weather might be.
Not looking forward to the 17hrs return flight today.........

Well Chinese New Year's fast approaching and it's time for me to get out of Hong Kong. Heading to the States on business for about two weeks with a quick stop over in Blighty. Always good to catch up with friends in London. 
Not looking forward to this trip though! Two weeks and 8 cities with the last stop being NY. Always leave the best for the last. I always love just mulling around the shops in the Village's however Soho's become like a mall over the years and has become less and less enjoyable. Hoping to see my favourite Englishman in NY,and discover some new vinyl stores, whilst I'm there.
And then it's back for Valentines and back home to Manila.....shit three weeks without seeing the wife and kids..
