My brother left for Texas today. From there, he's headed to Bahrain, a small island country along the east coast of Saudi Arabia. It's not considered a "hot zone" and is, in fact, supposed to be a more liberal country, but he's close enough now to be sent into the mix should anything major happen in Iraq, etc. He'll be there for a minimum of 1 year, maybe 18 months to 2 years. He gets a 2 week leave after the first year during which he can come home for a visit. My mom's a wreck. I'm okay. But I'll worry.

I love saturday nights.
My membership on this site is up in about a month or so. it's beeen weeks since i;ve even logged on. so i guess that means i wont miss it much.
