So apparently I haven't updated this thing in...oh...forever...
What can I say, like everything else, I tend to run in cycles. Admittedly the past year hasn't been the easiest, either, but thankfully I seem to have come out of it for the better. So I figured, eh, what the hell, might as well start this up again. And if it gets me into the habit of writing everyday again, so much the better.
For those who are used to me, good to be back. For those who aren't, the standard diclaimer.
1. I'm interested in everything, so if I seem to be scattered between subjects and tangent often, it's just something that's gonna happen.
2. there will most likely be shameless self-promotion. lucky you!
3. yes I really do talk like I write, unless I'm writing fiction and my eloquence rating automatically goes up. Just go with it, trust me. There will most likely be cursing and colloquialisms from everywhere, as well as really random analogies. The years change a person, but not that much ;)
4. I'll try to be concise. those who know me can stop laughing now.
5. like everything else in my life, this is totally a work in progress, so who knows what you'll find from day to day. Totally makes things more exciting that way.

why haven't I listened to Led Zeppelin in my life before now? Seriously, what was wrong with me?

Besides that little discovery I'm cleaning, sleeping, relaxing...because I am two days into a whole week off. Seven glorious days. Also doing a lot of writing, which pleases me immensely. Plowing through a few books, as well.
downtime is nice.
