I'm sad this morning... he did give such great songs to fill my childhood anf life... I feel like something just dies in me.... but I guess I will always say: C'est beau la vie.

The series just began and we did win... first jeu blanc for Tobie... nice game.
Hockey Pee Wee is just ... so exciting.
Olympics

Those were great... really. First time I follow olymoics game so much and Canada did ahve a lot of medals too... half of them from Quebec; that is nice.
But...
Those olympics make me realise how no-canadian I am. I know Quebec is very different then the rest of Canada but it was so obvious...we do nothing like the rest of Canada... values, way to celebrate and all.
We tend to show our emotions... according to some... we show them too much but we are very latine and warm here. Exemple: Charles beauchemin kissing Marianne her girlfriend when he won on speed skating.
I didn't identify with the closing ceremonies... I never saw a royal police (police montée) ... I don't even know the name in english in our province. Paul says there are a lot in others provinces...
In the North, we have beaver and moose but nothing to make it a hat for olymipcs. We have talents in Canada but they put Hedley (I saw them twice on international hot air balloons and it ain't a great band to me.)
But... I really enjoy all hockey games ( I would have like Slovakie to win third position tho for Halak). Skating, skiing, snowboard, bobsleigh and all was fun. Curling did bored me tho.
We have 3 hours delay with vancouver so I went to bed very late each nightbut enjoy every minute of it... Now rest for my holidays beginning now.
So, I'm a quebecer and also a canadian but a different one. I wish that western canadian realise that we could live together in peace with our differences... life would be easier.
