CLOSING
January 19, 2007 08:46PM
With MySpace up and running I'll be stopping the Bowienet blogs. MySpace has the space I need to branch out. I was planning to pursue the personal web site but that may not be necessary now.
2 gigs have been scheduled, for now . . .

And awaaaaay we go

So this is my 1st entry for 2007. I missed last week because I wasn’t feeling too well. I was excited to get out and play on the 1st Thursday of the year but I slept through the evening.
I already have a bunch of significant events on the calendar into June:
My professional life is getting a little boost with a new set of credentials. New business cards will be in order.
I’ll be taking some special classes for a personal interest that will bring me to a respected & Master level of knowledge. That will be in March & May.
I will finally be returning to live in NY. A home is calling my name in Westchester County, NY and it’s time to take life to a new level.
And lastly, MUSIC. I finally set up a little something on MySpace that will continue to develope as I get more pictures, better video than I what I put up here, and some audio recordings. It's all in the works but it is up and active. Check it out. .
For Thursday the 11th, we have a contender for Top 3 nights of music ever. Performances by everyone, feedback that I received, audience participation that I had - it was all victorious.
Should I Ever Come Home
Desert Sky
A Different Moon
Sorry Days
I'll also be forwarding a bunch of files over to my mystery web designer to get the personal web site up and running.

I think I finally accomplished posting a video to this blog. If everything is correct you should be able to see a few snippets of my performance from 10/29. The video clip has the product logo in the middle because I'm still learning about video conversion and was not ready to pay $30 for a full version of any software program.
The WMV video should appear by
clicking here .
For the sake of Thursday the 28th we found a handful of performers performing for each other. Art had to leave, so once again he left me in charge.
Keep The Lightning
Untitled #1
I Won't Back Down - Tom Petty
Should I Ever Come Home
The Man On The Flying Trapeze - Traditional
Then I had the chance to do a 2nd set - just for fun.
Drive - The Cars
Here I Go Again - Whitesnake
This magical Thursday had few new faces. I suppose lots of people were off for the week so they had no problems staying out late.
The mood was right and the good vibes came out. We loaned our guitars to people who showed up out of curiosity then later requested to play a few songs. A night like this confirms that Art created a supportive and friendly place with no ego. Thanks buddy and have a great new year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
