Been very busy the last little while. Haven't been online in over a week. Craziness.
New job is interesting...but I don't think retail is right for me...I miss being able to wear just jeans and hoodie to work...and the whole fake happiness thing. *sigh* Oh well...c'est la vie! The pay sucks big, but the discount is nice...I think I've spent more than I've earned so far. Hmmm...not making any headway here.
Lyn left for tradeschool last Sunday...all the way in Vermilion...7 hours...he's supposed to be gone for two months, but he always finishes early, he should be done by mid-November...hopefully by Remembrance Day. Than he'll be a third period electrician with only one more school session until he's a Journeyman. Very cool.
Got a new puddycat...he's so sweet! Just a little grey ball of fluff. He's such a cuddler too...he likes to snuggle up underneath my sweater or jacket and just stick his head out. But he's an outside kitty...so I'm not supposed to coddle him too much or he won't get tough (according to Lyn).
But yeah...life is dull...start prepping this week for my Grandparent's anniversary on the 30th...60 years...impressive. Going to be lots of relatives up for the weekend. Hopefully my older brother will make it home. I haven't seen him for three years. 
Will be really nice if he comes. Just have to wait and see.
Will be back soon if the madness doesn't consume me

Yee hah! Life is starting to pick up speed again!!
Start a new job on Monday at a ladies clothing store (the only one in town). And I get an employee discount of...get this...50%!!!!! Plus 25% off at their sister stores (one of which is a maternity store!) It is so exciting...but I've never worked retail before...so it could be interesting. On the plus side...it is the first "girly" job I've had...so I can dress nice and do my hair and all that (no hardhats and workboots here!!).
Also, we finally found a flat...so we'll be moving soon. Can't wait for that. Yeah!! Right next to my friends' place too... very good.
I'm so happy!! 
But...Lyn just made me lunch...so gotta fly! (Fresh caught pheasant...mmmm...)

Went to watch one of Lyn's friends at the Bracket Races today. They didn't start qualifying until 13:30...they were supposed to start at 10:00. That sucked. Managed to watch all three sets of time trials and Kelly's first (and only) race. He lost on a technicality. But he didn't do to bad for his first time out.
Then I broke a window when we got home...it wouldn't open...
Then I sliced my finger open making supper...argh!!!
Lovely day.
