I just read an article where David Bowie made a comment about nurses, saying that nurses are "up there."
I'm a nurse and that comment cheered me up immensely, on an exceptionally crappy day.
Thank you for that.

One week ago, we came home from London. It has been three years since my last confession, erm, I mean since we were in London. I was pleased to find that London hasn't really changed all that much, but I have. The things I thought I would want to do no longer really interested me, so I set about re-discovering London. And that is the really cool thing about London, you can discover it over and over.
I miss living there, it has such a cool vibe. To me, it still swings, it still is the scene.
On DB's birthday, I had a drink in his honour in the pub called the Toucan, just off SoHo square, with my husband, friends, and the landlord Colin, who let me bring in some Bowie CD's that he played for me. In my dream, Bowie walks in, of course.
