The BowieNet Cyber Song Contest "What's Really Happening", as we all know wasa smashing success. Entries came in from all over the world. Well it turnsout that various members of the legendary UK band - The Cure - submittedlyrics along with us mere mortals!
None of the boys won - or even made it tothe finals.....but we might send them a mousepad for their efforts. PS - Keepan eye out for a new Cure CD during 1999, with hopefully a tour to follow.

VH-1 will be re-running David Bowie's 'LEGENDS' show on February 7, 1999, 17:00.
(Profile) From cult stardom in the 1970s to superstarstatus in the 1980s and 1990s, David Bowie established an enduringname for himself as a musician and artist.
Thefilm "Everybody Loves Sunshine" will be in two upcoming film festivals. Thefirst is the Brussels' International Festival of Fantasy, Thriller and ScienceFiction Films. The Festival of Fantasy showing is scheduled for March 12th through27th. The film will also be shown at the Salerno Film Festival in SouthernItaly, April 21st through 25th.

- Canadian music video director and photographer, Floria Sigismondi recentlyreleased a photography book entitled
"Redemption". It features stills fromsome of her famous videos, including photos from the "Little Wonder" and "DeadMan Walking" videos. In fact, the cover shot is David Bowie from the lattervideo.
The official announcement has been made: David Bowie has been signed to perform at the Gisborne 2000 millennium festival in New Zealand on December 31 1999 / January 1, 2000. David will go on stage at 12:01 a.m., making his performance the first concert of the new millennium in the World! We will bring you more details soon. Stay tuned.
