Lodger Symphony On The Horizon

on January 11, 1999

In a recent interview in The Boston Phoenix (January 7th-14th), composer Philip Glass mentions that he and David Bowie will collaborate on a reworking of Lodger in the near future, completing the Bowie trilogy. The "Low Symphony" and "Heroes Symphony" were released by Point Music. Check out the interview at:http://bostonphoenix.com.

Starman File Now Available

on January 10, 1999

Back in November, Dar Williams hosted a "People's Choice" contest where her listeners choose a song that they wanted Dar to cover. The overwhelming winner was David Bowie's Starman. The song was recorded and is available for FREE download at http://www.razorandtie.com/spotlight.html. "Starman" beat out its opponents with 41% of the vote. Italian Bowie Bash

LovingTheAlien.com and fanzine Velvet Goldmine are hosting their 3rd Bowie Bash for Italian fans on January 30, 1999 at 10:30 p.m. at the ROCK CAFE', Via T.Eger 45, Bassano del Grappa (Vicenza).

Iman Chat
