Record Collector Feature

In the November 1999 edition of Record Collector (Issue No. 243), which is published in the UK and has 400,000 readers worldwide. Art Decade, is an eight-page feature on Bowie's work from Tin Machine in '89 to the present day. There is also a two-page review feature on 'hours', which is very favourable. Absolut Secret

BowieNet is proud to be offering a sneak preview of the London-based art exhibition, called Absolut Secret.

The Royal College of Art's annual fine art postcard event will be previewing at the Royal College.

Have a look and deliberate as to whether or not you are looking at an original artwork by Peter Blake, David Bowie, or the next Chris Ofili. The postcards are unmarked on the front, so it's an Absolut Secret as to who the Artist is!!

Bbc2 Broadcast

on October 29, 1999

For UK fans, BBC2 will broadcast a 45 minute Bowie special on Wednesday November 3rd at 18.00 GMT, repeated on Saturday November 6th at around 17.00 GMT.

The show has David introducing a selection of material (recorded in Paris on Friday), including three new performances from Hours, the complete 1972 Old Grey Whistle Test session (Pretty Things, 5 Years & Queen Bitch), Starman & "Heroes" from Top of the Pops, a new promo clip for Under Pressure and some other clips including Life On Mars.
