Happy New Year's Eve; Happy New Year! (Edited below)
December 31, 2008 09:15PM

Just to follow my trend with Thanksgiving and Xmas, decided to do nothing for NY's Eve. I did run out and get a little chocolate, a couple slices of corned beef, and some fresh cabbage, and I've got some black eyed peas in a can for tomorrow.
I WILL do my usual New Yrs Resolution bit which is about reviewing last year's list of goals, go thru it and see which need to be carried over, which need to be dropped and which new ones do I have for 2009.
My goals are as easy as (these are just hypothetical examples... sorta
:
1) get frog ring fixed.
To more difficult:
2) Find a therapist- find out why I attract _______ men
.
To somewhere in between:
3) exercise at least 3-5 times a week for 3 months and then re-evaluate.
Well, to everyone on B-net:
Happy New Year to you; Thank you for being here for me. You are my pressure relief valve, for sure. I appreciate you for being you.

(color: "O'Hare And Nails Look Great"... it's a deeper, richer red than what shows on my screen...; planet Saturn on big toes.)
Many Blessings,
K
EDITED: Computer rarely working; may not be around for a bit... if this will even post. My computer problem.
Well, it's officially the 25th... Merry X-mas (EDITED below)

About to go to bed. If I wake up before the little one, I will light a fire and finish a special xmas tree ornament related to having donated money.
Here's the tree:

Here is how the advent alter has progressed (see blog entry 4th down):

1st wk: Light in stones, seashells, crystals and bones.
2nd wk: Light in plants
3rd wk: Light in animals
4th wk: Light in man
And the Advent Ring... quite a blaze
... with 25 lights... starting on the right, at 3 o'clock, you can see a stone, then clockwise at bottom, 6 o'clock, is a pine tree, then up left, 9 o'clock, is a rabbit, and top, 12 o'clock, is a little being.

I may not do all these candles next year
. And still trying to figure out if I really want to do the whole Saint Nicholas thing and Santa thing. This is the first year, because of his school, and maybe his age and his influence from other children, he put out two cookies tonight--- one for St. Nick by his left-out boot, and then one by the fireplace for Santa. I always thought I'd be honest about this... but understand that "fantasy" is important too.... I'm just pretty scientific, so I'm still not sure if it's best to carry on this way with a child... so I havn't played it up... but I'm going along with it until I figure it out inside myself. Up until this year, I just told him Santa (which I also called St. Nicholas) is the symbol of Joy and Giving... but there was no secretiveness about who the gifts came from or someone coming in the night.
Merry Christmas.
Will read blogs sometime midday I expect.
Best,
K
EDITED: well, little one went with his dad to have dinner up the mountain with his dad's friend who does the whole big Christmas Dinner. I had some split pea soup, some plain speghetti squash and a 2" by 1" piece of Haddock from the freezer, which I heated in the toaster oven.
Pretty unsocial for me both Chritmas and Thanksgiving.

Been having some computer/internet/posting problems.
Hope you all had a good day. Thanks for being here for me.

the shortest day... but bring on that light from here on out! yea!
At the little one's school in the Fall:

and about a week ago:

What I knitted:

with black thread added for nostrils which I thought would help the gold ring for his nose... but the ring didn't look right:

sideview:

I'm a first-time knitter... used this pig pattern to help me:

So here's the baby Jesus and mother Mary:

"You can be stressed to the brim of your capacity, but I tell you, even then the Love will remain untouched deep inside. That is the Virgin. "Virgin" means that something in you that remains untouched. that gives rise to the Christ, the Enlightened."
